Unfortunately, not all attorneys have our commitment to achieving “full-justice” for their clients, nor do they have our trial experience and proven trial skills. In fact, some attorneys advertise that they are “trial attorneys” although they have never tried a case before a jury. While we understand that most clients do NOT want to go to trial, we also know that having an experienced trial attorney representing you is the best way to ensure your case will NOT have to go to trial. This is true, because with our knowledge and experience in preparing cases for trial, and our reputation amongst insurance companies and defense attorneys for vigorously pursuing every case we handle, we are able settle the majority of the cases that we accept. By ensuring that ALL of our clients’ cases are fully prepared for trial, the defense knows we will be prepared to go to trial if it becomes necessary to go that distance. In the end, they frequently choose to pay our clients what is needed to obtain “full-justice,” rather than face the risk they will lose more at trial. In all cases, we let our clients decide if and when to settle or proceed to trial; we don’t make our clients settle to avoid going to trial when it is needed to obtain “full-justice.” On the contrary, many attorneys who lack trial experience prefer to persuade their clients to settle because they are unable or unwilling to take any case to a jury to obtain “full-justice.” Sadly, insurance companies and big-businesses know who the non-trial attorneys are, and will routinely refuse to settle their cases for a full and fair amount. Likewise, some insurance companies routinely refuse to make a reasonable offer to any attorney until the case is prepared and on the courthouse steps. In either event, in these days of ruthless insurance claims practices, clients with serious injuries will only receive “full-justice” when their case is in the hands of a trial attorney who is known as an attorney who will fight to the bitter-end to advance the case to trial, and who will never force a client to settle for less than what it will take to recover full-justice for that client.
